    REMARKS: Summit Township Water pure free stone  Soil generaly [sic] rich sandy loam.  Timber Oak, Chestnut, Pine & Sugar Maple.  Alarge body of marl is found in this township from which an excelent quantity of lime is made it is also an excelent fertilizer but has not been used to much extent for that purpose
