CAMBRIDGE BOROUGH.

     Cambridge is situated on the line of the Atlantic and Great Western Railway, fourteen miles from Meadville and twenty-seven miles from Corry: and among its first settlers was Nathan Cummings.  It has improved quite rapidly during the past few years and now numbers about five hundred inhabitants.  It contains five churches, viz: Methodist, New School Presbyterian, Congregational, Baptist and Universalist.  A Lutheran congregation also meets in the Universalist Church building.  Its manufacturing interests are a Sash and Blind Factory, Hay Rake Manufactory and Cheese Factory.
     Three Societies are also here, viz: G. A. R , McLean Post No. 216; I. O. G. T., No. 698; and F. M., Covenant Lodge No. 473.
     It contains eight stores, in the different branches of merchantile business, all with fair stocks and doing an ever increasing business.
