EVANSBURG[H (CONNEAUT LAKE)].
    Evansburg is situated at the outlet of Conneaut Lake, in Sadsbury township, and is known as a healthful and pleasant summer resort.  It contains one Old School Presbyterian Church, Rev. W. W. McKinney, pastor; one United Presbyterian Church, Rev. Joseph McNab, pastor; one M. E. Church, Rev. D. W. Wampler, pastor; two schools, one hotel, the Lord House, one grocery and one drug store, one saw and one stave mill, one carriage shop, two blacksmith shops, two shoe shops, and one harness shop.  The Conneaut Lodge, A. O. U. W., No. 5, meets at Evansburg, and one Good Templers' Lodge.
