ca. March 1829 Created from parts of Bloomfield Twp., Oil Creek Twp., Randolph Twp., and Rockdale Twp. 1
Boundaries:  Beginning at the south west corner of lot No. 1369, and running east to the S. E. corner of lot No. 135; thence north to the N. E. corner of lot No. 146, on the line of the seventh [Donation] district; thence east with said line to the S. E. corner of lot No. 1732, in the eighth district; thence north to the N. E. corner of lot No. 1676; thence west to the N. W. corner of lot No. 1565; thence south to the S. E. corner of lot No. 150, being the south side of the eighth district; thence south and east to the N. W. corner of lot No. 1361; thence southwardly by the line of tracts to the place of beginning.
3 May 1850 Southern part lost to creation of Steuben Twp. [q.v.]
