The Harmansburg school district, in the county of Crawford, is hereby declared a separate township election district, for township purposes....
7 March 1843 Dissolved upon formation of Summit Twp. [q.v.].2
“That the eighty-second section of an act of assembly, approved the eleventh day of July, one thousand eight hundred and forty-two, entitled ‘An Act regulating election districts, and for other purpose,’ which creates Harmansburg school district into a separate election district, be, and the same is hereby repealed ....”

1 1842 Pa. Laws 321, 334 (Act No. 110 — 82).  The boundaries for Harmansburg Township can presumably be found in Crawford County Quarter Sessions Court papers (now at the State Archives) re: the creation of the Harmansburg school district [date unknown].
