Boundaries:  Beginning at the n. e. corner of [Athens Twp.]; thence south to the s. w. corner of lot no. 1731, on the south side of the eighth [Donation] district; thence west to the n. e. corner of lot no. 146, in the seventh district; thence south to the s. e. corner of lot no. 135; thence east to the s. e. corner of a tract in the name of William Kerr, on the line of Warren county; thence north by said line to the s. e.corner of lot no. 1621; thence west to the s. w. corner of said tract; thence north to the n. e. corner of lot no. 1623; thence west to the place of beginning.
3 May l1850 Southwestern part lost to creation of Steuben Twp. [q.v.]
14 April 1865 Portion incorporated as the borough of Centerville [q.v.]
