Boundaries:  Beginning at the N. W. corner of [Summerhill Twp.], being the S. W. corner of a tract returned to A. Power, and running east by line of said tract to the S. E. corner of a tract in the name of Philip Scott; thence north to the N. E. corner of a tract in the name of H. Carlin; thence west along the line of Erie county to a post, being the N. E. corner of [Beaver Twp.]; thence south to the place of beginning.
12 Nov. 1829 Name changed to Spring Twp. [q.v.]
