ca. March 1829 Created from parts of Beaver Twp., Conneaut Twp., Cussewago Twp., and Sadsbury Twp. 1
Boundaries:  Beginning at N. W. corner of [Sadsbury Twp.], being the S. W. corner of tract returned to Robert Johnson and east by line of said tract to the S. E. corner of tract returned to Philip Pine; thence north to the N. E. corner of a tract in the name of G. Dickson; [northern course, probably beginning "thence west," omitted;] thence south to the S. W. corner of a tract returned to Robert Johnson the place of beginning.
7 March 1843 Southern part lost to creation of Summit Twp. [q.v.]
25 April 1844 Portion incorporated as the borough of Conneautville [q.v.]
